This year we will mark Ukraine’s Independence Day across Montenegro with two powerful gatherings — in Podgorica and Cetinje. It’s impossible to stay on the sidelines.
📍 Podgorica – Big March for Ukraine (18:00)
Start: near the Embassy of Ukraine.
📍 Cetinje – “Strength in Unity” (18:00)
Cetinje, known as Montenegro’s most independent city, will once again become a place of deep solidarity with Ukraine.
🕕 18:00 – Prayer for Ukraine & Chain of Unity around the 33-meter Flag
We will pray for Ukraine together with Father Ivan, Bishop of Duklja, and gather around a 33-meter-long Ukrainian flag – символічно до 33 років Незалежності України. We will form a Chain of Unity around the flag.
🕖 19:00 – Big March in Support of Ukraine
With the flag, we will join the traditional march in support of Ukraine that takes place in Cetinje every month on the 24th, initiated by Montenegrin locals.
Patriotic Shop on the Main Square. Throughout the event, a Patriotic Shop will be open on Cetinje’s central square — including items from Uniting Hearts and MAKUVUSI.
