The season of magic is here – and our motankas are getting a special Halloween twist: motanka “little witches”
In Ukrainian folk tradition, this type of motanka is a символічний protector of the home: it is believed to help keep prosperity inside, “sweep away” troubles with its broom, and guard against unwanted guests and bad intentions. People say it can neutralize envy and negative thoughts – and support a feeling of cleansing and renewal during times of change.
This workshop is also about letting go of the unnecessary, moving through personal crises, and clearing space (inside and around you) for something new.
